At Adepts, we prioritize customer satisfaction while ensuring fairness in our policies. Below is our updated cancellation and refund policy.

We understand that project requirements may evolve, and circumstances can change. Our cancellation policy ensures a balance between flexibility for our clients and protection of resources allocated to a project.

Service-Based Cancellations

Project Initiation Phase:

Cancellations requested before the project initiation (such as requirement gathering and planning) will be processed after deducting a 10% administrative fee.

Active Development Phase:

Once the project has entered the development phase, cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and a prorated refund (if applicable) will be provided based on the work completed.

Completed Projects:

Cancellations are not allowed for services or projects that have been fully delivered.

Subscription-Based Services

For ongoing subscriptions;

Cancellations for ongoing subscriptions (e.g., hosting, maintenance) must be made at least 7 days before the next billing cycle.

Active subscriptions:

No refunds will be provided for the current billing cycle once a subscription is active.

Non-Cancellable Services

Non-Cancellable Services:

Customized software development, consultancy services, and other bespoke IT solutions are non-cancellable once work has commenced.

Eligibility for Refunds

Refund request:

Refunds will be granted only if a formal request is made, and the request meets the eligibility criteria outlined in the cancellation policy.

Refunds for halted projects:

Refunds for projects halted due to technical issues or non-performance from our side will be processed after a thorough review.

No Refunds:

Consultation etc.:

Services such as consultation, audits, and already deployed solutions are non-refundable.

Miscommunication etc.:

Refunds are not applicable for dissatisfaction due to miscommunication, changes in client preferences after delivery, or third-party dependency failures.

Refund Process and Timeline:

Approved refunds:

All approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used during the transaction.

Refund initiation:

Refunds will be initiated within 10 business days from the approval date.
